Saturn and Venus in Aries
How these 2 Parental Archetypes are going to aid us in building the structures for the Matriarchal world that we need
I’ve been listening to the guidance from some of my favorite astrologers around this important planetary shift as Saturn moves into Aries. I’ve been sitting with their messages and trying to work past my initial fears. They say that Aries is Saturn’s fall, because Saturn is the timekeeper, and asks us to move slower, more methodically, yet Aries energy is more urgent, so these two very different energies clash. As a Virgo rising, they also say that Saturn in Aries will impact my finances, my material world, my sense of Security and Safety. I am also a Taurus sun, with Chiron in my sun sign, which means, a main core wound has been around this same theme, around my sense of security and abundance. So, I feel my whole life has been a Master Class in preparing me for this shift. I am not saying that I am not scared of this shift, but I am shifting how I perceive this shift.
Instead of gripping with fear, I am welcoming the energies of Saturn as a paternal, father energy, and asking what it wants to teach me? How is it trying to prepare me for the future? Saturn will be in Aries for the next 3 years, and then move into my Sun sign of Taurus… so is Saturn asking me to take action and do the work now to secure my financial future, and once it is in Taurus will I then see the manifestation of the structures that were put into place? Maybe, maybe there is hope.
And what else do we have to hold on to but hope? With our country literally on Fire, people being persecuted and deported, the government cutting funding to important resources, so much racism, fascism, and literal genocide and ethnic cleansing happening across the world. We have to hold on to something, but not just hold it and dream it, but can Saturn in Aries be lighting a literal fire under our asses to take bold action. Take bold action that will help us build the structures necessary to bring our dreams to life. To birth the Matriarchal world that we so badly need and bring it into being. I know it may seem wishful thinking, it may seem impossible when everything seems to be stacked against us, but Aries is going to put that heat on us. It will feel intense at times, and although we will be driven to work with urgency, we must remember to not burn out. Especially when the results do not happen immediately. Saturn, as our loving father, will remind us to stay the course, do the work and trust that our efforts are enough.
Not only will we be receiving this instruction from sky daddy Saturn, but also from Venus, the Divine Feminine archetype, the loving mother energy. Venus and I have been recently re-introduced to each other. As my good friend and astrologer,
Sara Carbone
pointed out to me in a birth chart reading, Venus sits in Gemini at Zero degrees.
Sara Carbone
explained to me that anytime that a planet sits at Zero degrees that means they are there to show us what is possible. So, since we are currently in Gemini season, and Venus is also in Aries with Saturn for a short time, this feels very special to me. I think she wants to share with me what is possible with Love during these times of intensity and horror, and here I will share with you.
During this short window that Venus hangs out in Aries with Saturn, I believe she will be there letting Saturn know what we need. I imagine Saturn and Venus as two loving parents having a very important conversation around what the needs of their children /humanity and the web of life are. I imagine Venus speaking from her heart, advocating to Saturn, pleading with him and us, to act with urgency. The time is now, to act with love, in the service of humanity and the web of life. To burn down these old outdated systems, and put new structures in place that actually support life and creation.
I will share more as I receive more from Venus, but what I do know is that we cannot continue to live like this. Literal lives are on the line, with children, babies, humans, and all of creation being destroyed in Gaza over the greed of the Elite. My friends and family cannot continue to operate in a state of flight and fight, and constant burn out. We have been imagining a better world while Saturn has been in Pisces, now as these planets move into Aries, time will feel accelerated, and we will be pushed to act.
Let us be sure to try to get grounded and clear so that we are not being reactive and repeating old cycles. My hope is that we all sit and listen to what these 2 archetypes want to teach us at this time, and lean in with an open heart, and not allow our fears to drown out our hopes for a better world.
