Eclipses as Portals of Love

How is everyone feeling after this last Eclipse? I’m hearing form a lot of friends and healers that they are tired, almost like our bodies needed to slow down to integrate everything that came through for us during this latest eclipse portal.

I am barely being able to carve out time to sit and try to weave together all of the medicine that came through for me.

This last eclipse landed on the Virgo/ Pisces access. As a Virgo rising and Pisces in my 7th house, this hit my house of self and my house of relationships. Being the last eclipse that took place on this axis, a lot of astrologers were saying that this Eclipse was going to complete a cycle.

I braced for this eclipse in anticipation, and did all of the cleanses and grounding practices to help ease my nervous system. And then I realized, what if Eclipses are not something to fear? What if eclipses are Portals of Love that we can access and better understand Divine Union?

One of the things that has helped me ground my energy a lot, and create the spaciousness to receive the messages intended for me, is working intentionally with the energies of each Trecena in the Mayan calendar.

The eclipse happened to land on the days of No’j (Knowledge) and Tijax (the blade, the healer, the holy warrior). I asked these energies to help me find the wisdom in this eclipse. To show me what needed to be cut from my life or way of thinking that was blocking my ability to be rooted in Love.

I also left a Kintu (a practice from the Q’eros) to connect with the energies of Mama Killa (Grandmother moon) and Taiti Inti (Grandfather Sun), and I asked that they help me understand what lessons were coming to completion for me during this eclipse. And what came through was something so simple and yet so powerful.

I heard that the lesson completing in this cycle for me, was to realize that I was already complete. This has been the journey of the last 2 years with Virgo and Pisces, as relationship issues rose to the surface, things dissolved back into formlessness, back into the amniotic fluid to be re-born.

I think I wrote about my experience during the last eclipse in Pisces/Virgo, that I felt like I almost drowned and had some major sea legs and that I couldn’t get grounded. I learned a lot during this axis. I learned that my Virgo likes structure and stability. My Virgo likes to feel the safety of the vessel that contains my waters, but sometimes to feel the depths of the emotional waters of Pisces can feel like drowning. So, I had to learn to swim. I had to learn to surrender and flow, and re-define what boundaries were important for me. And more importantly, I learned that I am not alone when I do this work. After all, the Virgo/ Pisces axis are guided by Mother Mary and Jesus. And when I realized this it all clicked and came together. This axis was about bringing me back into resonance with them, with Divine Love. A Divine Love so pure, deep, and beautiful, to remind me that I am whole, I am complete just as I am.
