Divest, Rebuild & Re-birth…

I want to go deeper with you about my experience with Divesting.  I want to bare it all to you, because re-modeling our lives from the inside out is no easy task.  Change can be hard, change can be scary, but staying somewhere that no longer resonates with your soul’s calling, that no longer aligns with your values is also hard and scary, and honestly this is one of the ways that we experience soul loss.

But I get it, we have relied on these platforms, and corporations, to help support our own businesses, our livelihood and our very lives for so long. And although we may want to divest, we may need time to research and plan other alternatives. I know that  So many questions came up for me  as I considered taking this leap. Am I willing to give up my sovereignty to follow the status quo, to stay relevant? I’ve invested so much into this ______ (insert here, business, community, relationship)… how can I give up now?  I will have to start over again, but how?

Although this process was scary and confusing, I chose to take that Leap of Faith into the unknown anyway.  Into the darkness I journeyed, not knowing what I would find, but trusting that I would be supported and guided as I figured things out.

And honestly all of these worries are so valid.  Especially now being on the other side of it.  Man!  Let me tell you what I deeply realized.  We need support through changes.  Our bodies, our minds, need encouragement, need comforting, need support!  We need mid-wives to help us through this re-birth process.  Midwives that will hold us with compassion, encourage us when it gets hard, remind us of our light, our gifts our Medicina.  Midwives that will help us reclaim our sovereignty and remember our Divinity.

Midwives that have walked through the murky swamp and pulled themselves out, knowing how to return to their bodies, knowing how to disentangle themselves from the collective fears and come back to their own inner knowing and wisdom… all of this not only for their own benefit but also to be able to go back to their communities and to the collective to share the Medicine they found down in the Swamp.
